Our family stayed at Villa Naga Maya for three months and we want to thank all of the staff and the owner Merrick for a making our stay so wonderful!
We planned to go to Bali on maternity and paternity leave with our two children, Thea 3 years old and Enya 1 year old. We searched the Internet for a suitable place to stay and our demands were very high, we looked for a private secure villa with swimming pool, modern kitchen, bedrooms with A/C , internet connection, close to the beach and to the shopping areas and we finally come across villa Naga Maya.
Where to begin…. The villa has a high standard and also beautifully decorated!
Not mentioned in the webpage is that the villa has three TVs which were really good when the European football championship took place and Ingo wanted to stay up all night.
The short 5 minutes walk down to the beach is perfect and we really liked that the villa is situated in a very quiet area of Legian, yet though very close to shops and restaurants.
We especially loved that a lot of local people are living in the neighborhood as it made us feel like we took part of the daily life down here, seeing children go to school, people on motorbikes going to the local market early in the morning and best of all, local children that Thea could play with.
As we have small children it was really good to be able to make your own food and the kitchen had everything we needed to make the cooking easy.
The swimming pool is great! It is so clean and the surrounding with the wood animals, the tropical garden and the water curtain just makes it so perfect.
The staff is so friendly and helped us with everything we needed and I can tell you that it was a lot as this was the first time in this beautiful island with two small kids. Putu and Didi in the office that help us with car bookings, camera up loads on the internet, ordering of food, visa problems and much much more. Putu and Ari that gave us such a wonderful breakfast and cleaned our villa and had to pick up a lot of toys from the floor every day. Mingus, John and Thaus for looking after the tropical garden and the outdoor environment, Made for fixing our trolley when it broke down and Ketut for always being around and there to help if we needed.
A special thanks to Merrick, the owner for being so friendly and for opening up his own home for us. Thea just loved to feed the fishes and play with your dog, Bobbo!
It is truly an oasis that you have created Merrick and we cannot thank you enough for making our stay so great!
We will recommend villa Naga Maya to everyone that we speak too and we will of course come back to stay again.

Nice to know is that we had a private masseur for the whole stay, Ayu Ariasih that also become our very close friend. Ayu is working with “on call massage” and she will if you want to enjoy her excellent services make your stay in villa Naga Maya even more relaxing!
